Maitham Haidar Al-Lawati has more than eight years of professional experience in Information Security Governance, Risk Management, Information Security Program Development & Management, Security Architecture, Security Assessments, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Network Security, Encryption, Incident Management and Response, Information Systems Audit & Control and enterprise Information Technology management.

Maitham boasts several professional certifications, CISM, C|EH, ISO 27001 LI, CCNP:Security, CCNA:Security, CCNA, Cisco IPS/NAC/ASA Specialist, Security+ and CNSS 4011/4013. Maitham was involved in projects across Oman, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi, Yemen, India, United States and United Kingdom which span across verticals like Telecom, Manufacturing, Retail, Islamic Insurance, Government Agencies, Banking, Finance, Power & Gas, Real Estate, Construction, Hospitality and E-Commerce. Maitham has authored A Framework for Securing SME’s Network Infrastructure (OIBC 2011). Maitham is currently recruited by Oman Arab Bank (part of Arab Bank PLC Group) as Information Security Manager to establish the Information Security practice across the bank.
