Brief About:

Mr. Gamal Abdel Nassir Awad, Assistant Professor & Deputy HOD, Dept. of Computing - Muscat College. Over 15 years’ teaching experience. PhD Researcher in Information Security in Final Stage Faculty of Computing, University of Technology Malaysia.

Worked as main supervisor for final year students (4th year graduation project) of bachelor degree B.Sc. with honours in Business Computing major- University of Stirling- UK. I have Attended & participated in various conferences and international seminars related to security and database management systems. My papers presentation in international conference as, but not limited to, :

• Presented a research paper titled “Task Scheduling based on Quantum Particles Swarm Optimization Load Balancing in Cloud Environment" in NCON-PGR conference, 8 – 9th September 2012 at University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia.


• Presented a paper titled “Security Risk Assessment Based on Multi-Objectives Model” in the Malaysian Postgraduate Conference on Electrical, Electronic and Control Technology- (MCEECT 2012).
